Arol Wolford

President

Arol Wolford is a recognized pioneer in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a long-standing advocate for innovation in the built environment. Before its acquisition by Reed Elsevier in 2000, he founded Construction Market Data (CMD), growing it from a five-person startup into a global leader with over 1,300 employees. Arol was also a founding board member of Revit Technology Corporation, which was later acquired by Autodesk. In 2003, he launched SmartBIM, a company dedicated to developing Revit content.

Arol is the first non-architect to serve on the AIA 150 Board and is an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). For his contributions to the industry, he has received the CSI President's Award (1999) and the CSI President's Innovation Award (2020). He currently serves on the boards of several companies influencing the future of 3D visualization, energy-efficient design, and innovative construction. As President of Spatial Construx, he continues to lead advancements in BIM by championing the development of visual modeling technologies such as Virtual Information Modeling (VIM).

Alexa Romanek brings over a decade of strategic marketing experience in the AEC sector, specializing in the promotion of emerging technologies such as 3D modeling and Virtual Reality for architectural and interior design. Her creative strategies and thought leadership have significantly increased industry awareness of immersive design technologies.

Alexa was featured in Seasons 1 and 2 of Office Spaces on Lifetime TV and Fox Business, where she demonstrated how office spaces can be optimized and reimagined through VR technology. Her work has also been highlighted in Entrepreneur Magazine, which recognized her contributions to transforming how technology enhances the built environment.

Charles de Andrade

Director of Finance

Charles DeAndrade began his career as an electrical contractor before transitioning into construction information publishing, where he eventually became Vice President of Editorial Operations. With over 45 years of experience in the AEC industry, Charles is a respected expert in industry workflows and a leader in the adoption of BIM, VR, and AR technologies.

In his role as Director of Finance at Spatial Construx, Charles provides both strategic and operational oversight to help guide the company’s mission of enhancing construction efficiency and accelerating industry adoption of innovative technologies. His work continues to be driven by a lifelong dedication to improving the quality of the built environment.

Judah Jackson

Judah Jackson is a seasoned innovator in technical integration, with more than thirty years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Through strategic guidance and training, he has helped some of the world’s leading AEC firms adopt CAD and BIM-based workflows.

Judah’s deep expertise spans every aspect of project delivery, including design, modeling, and asset management. His work has been instrumental in developing interactive 3D building models that enhance asset security, support facility maintenance, and improve construction efficiency for owners and developers around the world.

Christian Jansen

Lead Developer

Christian Jansen is a senior software engineer and the lead developer behind Nception, an innovative application developed by Spatial Construx that bridges the gap between building information modeling (BIM) and immersive virtual reality. With a deep background in interactive 3D environments, real-time graphics programming, and application architecture.

Christian’s development philosophy blends clean, scalable code with an intuitive user interface—making advanced technology accessible to architects, engineers, developers, and facility managers alike. His leadership and technical expertise have helped position Nception as a powerful tool for visualizing design intent, improving stakeholder communication, and unlocking new ways of interacting with spatial data in the AEC industry.
